civic vs. z24
last nite..me and my boyz plus some other crew that we roll and other people that just watch and never race....so once we got there...a guy from the other crew wit an auto z24 comes up...does that black civic hatch want to race? (i drive a black civic hatch wit auto tranny)....so i said "alright lets hook it up"
so we line up....i'm doin the brake stance....pressin my brakes while on d4 at 3500rpm..."GO"....my tires squeel (sp?) a bit and i take off on him...i have about half a car lead in 1st gear....then in 2nd gear..he starts catchin up to me (less than 1/2 a car now)..and i'm around 6000rpm..and my car shifts into 3rd at around 3000rpm..then i do a neutral drop..(popped it into 'N', rev'ed up to 6000rpm and dropped it back to 'D4') and boom...started to pull away...1/2 a car..to 1 car...then to 2 car lead and cruise til the end of the strip.....
he thought i had something in my car...told him nope..he checked inside and saw the auto tranny and i popped my hood...all he saw was a SOHC d16 wit an intake.....it was good fun tho...
also i raced a ford windstar...lost by like 3 cars...(i knew i was gonna lose..but its all for fun...)
