I know this guy that painted his neon (  ) with a like bright yellow.. He was stupid about it annd didnt clean them before and then one night he was racing a truck against me ( 5 litre V8 F-150) and the paint wasnt REALLY made to be put on the engine (he put it on the manifold and it heated it) then the car started smokin and almost hit a mailbox..... So i would suggest make sure it is engine paint before putting it on anything beneath the hood.
