We as humans focus on the visual aspect of relationships....he was tryin to get us to focus on the things that actually hold the relationship together and find out what is important to us. Looks are what initially draw us in....but you can be with the most attractive person on the planet and still be lonely cuz they aren't fulfilling your needs in the relationship.
