Do you mean the filters with the plastic heat shields on them? Airflow WOULD be cut down but if you do it ram air style it would work good

I dunno if they're heat shields. I didn't really look to closely. I though they were cool until I thought about it. Ram air? Does that consist of putting holes in your hood?
