The problem will NOT be the engine. Engines actually get better as they age. Without boring you, it has to do with the thermal cycling of the metal as it gets hot and cold and hot again. It makes the metal stronger.
The problem is going to be the running gear, like the transaxle and suspension parts. These things fatigue with age. They flex, crack and fall apart as they get older.
