In my opinion win2k is far superior. And not having big brother breath down your neck is also a plus. I'm waiting for the second edition, look at Microslacks history:
Win310-->stripped down
Win311-->better with more options
Win95a-->sucked
Win95c-->better
Win98-->better than 95, yet buggy
Win98SE-->far superior than anything previous
WinME-->doesn't count, only uneducated people bought into that scam
Win2k-->awesome, becuase built on previous NT tech
Winxp-->garbage so far, wait for next version
