The torque on the Nissans is nice. My friend has an SE2.0 I'm sure he'd get me off the line, but I think I'd take him in the long run.
jlepore123, if you want an instant kick get some nitrous. I used to have a 98 EX. VTEC in the SOHC is very mild compared the DOHC. You can still feel it, but like toykilla said, it won't win the race for you.
