My friend owns an old taxi-like car that he got for free. He has 4 12" Alpine Type R DVC subs in the rear seat powered by 2 Pheonix Gold 300ZX amps or something with a crossover unit to connect them. He has a portable dvd player in his car with a flip up monitor that is about 6" big. He has i think 6-8 speakers in his car including kick panels, door speakers, center console speakers, vent speakers. This system is insane. I work at safeway and he came in the other day to buy something and I was in the very back room and he came to the opposite end of the store (the front) and i could hear it in the back..interested i wanted to see who it was and sure enough it was him. This thing is insane, i'm surprised he is not deaf yet....it's so sweet. He just put this bass enhancer thing on the other week, its a turn knob to crank the bass even deeper and he has another switch to control how low of frequencies he wants to reach. INSANE...i should try to get pictures..by the way, his car is for sale. $6500 including the system.
