Hey welcome to HS. You won't be uneducated very long if you just ask questions (on this site and otherwise.) Do you have pics of your car? Its much easier to give suggestions to a physical picture than a mental picture. If not oh well.
My suggestion is: NO DECALS!, at least until you do some engine work (and you will, its inevitable - fun when you do)
