For those of you that have a custom made wood box, or any box for that matter, you should definetly seal the box.

Seal it with chaulk, to make it air tight. My wood box with 12"JBL sounded 110% better after making it airtight. My friend is doing it to a pair of 10" bazooka tubes also. You just can't be afraid of taking it apart.
