Cheap coilover sleeves (such as Ground Control, Skunk2, etc.) are just a spring that allows you to adjust the height of your car. You will need new struts to go with them.

True coilovers (Apex'i, Tein, Tanabe... the list goes on) are a spring/strut combo that is perfectly matched for eachother. This is the best way to go, but is fairly expensive.
