Or maybe you do have a Seem but it was done so well you don't know it's thier !

No seam. I sat in their bay and watched them do the tint job....one piece. So maybe they get bigger rolls.

One question....why does everybody want such dark tint? Is it for looks, to keep prying eyes out, or to keep the heat out.

For looks, darkness is a matter of opinion, thus to each his own. If you're doing a tint job yourself and are tinting the front window (and care about legality), then make sure you don't come down too far. For '01 Accords, at least, there's a line on the windshield marking the furthest down you can put tint, I think it's labeled ASA (not sure on that one), and is a very small black line about 1/4" or less, about 5" from the top. This is the legal limit for Texas, although I'm not sure about other states. If you don't care about legality....while not recommendedl, it's your own prerogative.

For prying eyes....if driving, dark tint keeps eyes out....if parked, he who wants to see in your car will see in your car. Some theives consider tint+alarm to be a way of hiding something worth stealing.

For heat...a high performance tint will cut out much more heat at a higher light transmission level than a low grade tint will. This will be especially applicable if you're tinting yourself and buying tint at Wal-Mart.
