If you have another car to travel around in the best way to figure it out is to take out a set of pads and take them to the local auto store. They will probably ask you if they are akebono or nissin, just have them take out both and match em up. On my car(90 accord) the akebono pads have two small notches toward the top of the pad, and the nissin i belive have 3 notches, one on top and two on either side, but like i said thats my car.
