Mr. Rice, you sure do know your cars and comps. I would have to agree. If you have the same address everytime you get on, you probably have a static IP. You can only change it if you call your provider. I have AT&T cable and I used to have a static, but they recently switched over to DHCP, which I think is a better choice for security sakes. Looks like you will just have to play the famous phone hold game waiting for a customer service idiot that knows nothing but where the power switch is. Good luck.
