it's actually the womens rights movement.

In a society where woman are considered equals I think that LOTS of guys who are disrespectful as a power play with other guys apply the same act towards women.

Pop culture in general DEFINATELY has a lot of influence... but I certainly wouldn't blame Rap... that's like saying rap is to blame for violent crimes like muggins and stuff... that's just stupid...

ALL of these things existed in the past... it was just that OUT IN THE OPEN it was shunned...

The same man who in the fifties would beat a guy for touching his wife... probobly beat his wife at home.

These threads pop up all the time... LOOK the world has NEVER EVER EVER been an honerable nice place to live... the majority of humans in the world have ALWAYS been SHITTY SHITTY PEOPLE. It's just a matter of how in view that shittiness is.

If you ask me women have it a LOT better now a days than they did even in the recent history... in the 60's, 70's, and 80's women were seriously just objects to do with or to what you wanted.

Now smacking/grabbing a girls ass is unacceptable... (to most) where as in the 60's->90's it REALLY wasn't considered ANYTHING.

Sexual harrasement wasn't even something a women could charge against an employer till the 90's.

Think about THAT... you can't believe that out in a club with DRUNK HORMONE FILLED TEENS that one of them would grab a girl... FULL GROWN 40 year olds used to MOLEST girls they worked with in an OFFICE 20 years ago.

You could comment on womens tits at work.. they had NO rights... If you're shocked by going out to a place filled with drunken morons and encountering a DRUNKEN MORON then I'd say you're kinda looking for something to complain about.
