Now you're talkin' my language. I downright hated Hostel. After watching the trailers and seeing it hyped up as some huge horror/gorefest, it turned out to be bottom of the barrel bullshit. The ONLY high point (and it's one that almost everyone will miss) is an extremely brief cameo by Takashi Miike. That...and all of the tits, I suppose. But I think the tits were just there to distract you from how shitty the movie was. As much as I love tits, it didn't work.
On a side note, I think I'm going to have to highly recommend a movie that went largely ignored in 2003 called "House Of 9". No one particularly famous (unless you count Dennis Hopper...I don't), but it is a lot like Saw meets Battle Royale (the movie, not those dipshit wrestling things). Plus it came out before Saw and is a lot better both visually and conceptually. Not a bad way to kill 90 minutes.
