Seriously...this is a small town. Around 20K people if you include the students. Roughly 10K permanent residents and virtually no major industry. I can scarcely think of a situation where you couldn't make every delivery in this town in one day with one truck. And if you think this is an isolated incident, you're dead wrong. I've dealt with UPS dozens and dozens of times in the past 10 years or so and only about half of those experiences are what I would call good. Most of the time I get banged up boxes, boxes with footprints (the most common) and on more than one occassion they've actually told me they stopped by my house at a time that I was home to know they didn't. I've never had any issue with USPS or FedEx (well...ok...once with FedEx) Being the biggest of anything doesn't mean a damn thing. The U.S. government is the biggest government on the planet, though certainly not the best. N'Sync was once the biggest musical group in the world and boy did they suck. So you like UPS? Whoopty shit. I don't.
Also...you said you're in the shipping business. How could you possibly be in the shipping business and use UPS? That would be like someone who works at American Airlines booking all customer flights through Delta. It doesn't make any sense unless you're in a business that requires you to ship a lot though it's not in the shipping business per say.

Not to argue facts on this one, but isn't China the largest government on the planet?
We ship with UPS because they are the best people to do business with. Yes Fedex and USPS are relatively good but nothing compares to UPS. No one enjoys dealing with the post office and fedex can be scetchy, not offering tracking on some of their gruond shippments.
