I can confirm, you dont know what you're talking about. All major movie houses use the same protection that goes to their blockbuster DVDs, DVD's sold in stores and those rented and non-major video stores.
From what I've read they will intend to limit copying more with the new format by not selling burnable media of the same quality. Though even that will only take so long.
