I've been thinking about that. I've wanted to build a media center for the living room anyhow. Right now the Xbox provides all the music and movies (gotta love mod chips....
)
I'll look more into the ATi cards. I know I can get the channel guide like I get with cable for free (XMLTV). I'd just need to look into how to record on certain times & such.
