Didn't we do this once already? We outlawed the teaching of evolution thus making Kansas the laughing stock of the entire world while simultaneously giving boners to every hardcore conservative in the country. That was in '99. Now we're trying again...but the name has changed. Now it's not "creationism", it's "intelligent design"...a name given to the idea to obfuscate the fact that it's the same old bullshit. Kudos on the "intelligent design" nomenclature. It actually sounds vaguely scientific while also being ridiculously ambiguous.

I'm not trying to convey one line of thinking here or another. I don't know what your preference is in reference to why we're here or how we got here and honestly I don't care. The fact of the matter is that if you don't want your kids to hear about evolution, send them to parochial school. Ask that they be excused from class during such sections of class. Hell...do something. Just don't repeatedly try to inject religion into a science class. Man...I despise this state.
