That is untrue. I plan on entering politics after a term of military service, and I'm not doing it because I'm power hungry or egotistical. I see a lot of things wrong with the system and the way things are run and truly believe I can make a positive impact. Call me naive, but it is all true. Surely I'm not the only person in all of politics to have that motive... (not saying everyone does, just denouncing your absolutist view).
