i'd say that NA is out of the question for the S2k since so much power is already being extracted.
you need to talk to him and ask him how crazy he wants to make it. Is he looking for more power that will be streetable, or does he want a 500hp 8000RPM monster?
If he wants to go the supercharged route, comptech makes some nice stuff, and i think you can still retain you warranty.
As far as turbo's go, the sky's the limit. A higher comp. engine will yield more power, but must the margin for tuning error is much smaller. That's assuming that he's going to do normal boost levels around 5-10 psi.
