No its about right, if you ask most of the people who happen to be "experts in their field" when it comes to this.
I'm also on board the thought that we aren't very advanced. Hell, if the dinosaurs didn't die out, they'd be the ones who evolved, not us. It'd be like that old 80's cartoon Dinosaucers
