276hp is the "agreed" power limit in Japan for auto manufacturers...or so I've been told. If you've ever played GT3, you'll notice that all Japanese big power cars (like Skylines) list their numbers at 276hp. The real numbers are higher...much like Amerikan muscle cars in the late '60s-early '70s. Like a hemi-headed Ford 429 with an 800+cfm carb (Ford's Boss 429) was only making 375hp. Sure...my ass. Rally-style cars were never really my thing...but it looks good.
