You know...I don't see this war as republican vs. democrat. It's human vs. human. That's the reason I responded the way I did. No matter what you think of terrorists, they're still humans. Maybe their view of us are in part attributable to our policies concerning their countries and religion. While you may hate them for what you think they have done, they are still people like you and me and 300 million other Amerikans. They are fighting for what they think is the greater good. Do I agree with it? Not really. Do I understand it? Absolutely. If we felt a country was invading the U.S. we'd fight tooth and nail to rid ourselves of them. This is not a matter easily dismissed as "evil" or the oh-so- popular "they're jealous of our freedom". If they were jealous they would simply inact change where they lived. Yet ironically peace rarely comes without a fight. And from those lost in that fight rises a spirit of wisdom. Unfortunately we have yet to encompass that wisdom and keep blindly fighting others who want not much more than we ourselves want. it's not about U.S. vs. *insert country here*. It's about humans vs. humans. People dying is never funny unless it's done in a comical fashion in a movie and anyone who thinks otherwise needs to find a fucking soul. That's it. End of discussion.

Someday, in the event that mankind actually figures out what it is that this world actually revoles around, thousands of people are going to be shocked and perplexed that it was not them. Sometimes this includes me.
