Man all you do is repeat the same crap over and over. I think its you that needs to "stfu" and "sit down". Youre not doing anything but taking up bandwidth and giving me something to do at work.
Youre, right about the 74mins coming out 4+ years ago - that was the first blank md size. Around 3-4yrs ago battery life wasnt that great because at that point md's were using the old esp technology to prevent skipping of the discs. Today's players use "g-protection" and I easily get over 6hrs on the standard battery in any play-mode. I can also attach a 2ndary back-up AA battery to extend it to another 2.5hrs. So theres matching times. Realize that the md is doing more work and still getting good efficiency w/ todays md technology.
This is pathetic. You need to make up things in order to continue an arguement. Youre either really bored or just plain pathetic. Did I mention anything about downloading music? I dont think so. I remember saying trasfering music from cd's and retaining better-than-mp3 quality...but thats about all. Again...you must just have md-envy to bring up that totally moot point.
If ipod is "the best thing out there" then why do official music recordings never go on ipod? Why do they use md? Why do reporters use md if ipod's are "the best thing out there"? Once again, since you can't seem to get it, md is more versitale. Ipod is completely dependent on the computer...md you dont even need anything but the md, a disc, and a mic/mini cable.
The only person thats making this an arguement is you "kid". Im stating full-on facts about versatility, weight, convenience and all you have to say is "we're not in japan" and "ipod is the best thing out there" you sound like a 6yr old child complaning about pokemon. Yes, ipod is "the best" MP3 player out there. MD is not meant to be a mp3 player. Its meant to be something else entirely...the fact that it does enable a person to play mp3's just ads to its usefulness.
Did I touch on a soft-point when I mentioned your signature? Did someone else point that out too? Golly gee...sorry about that. I think I can safely say I know more about "the world" as a whole and its events than you do...and I dont think there is any point in discussing that in a post that has nothing to do w/ anything but portable audio devices.
In fact, I cant see any point in discussing this matter any further since 97civic probably already bought something. Which I hope he enjoys, whichever unit he decided to get. Now that Ive said that Im finished, be the "bigger man" since you keep calling me a kid and refrain from posting more dribble and pointless "facts", as you call them.....which in reality are only the same few things set on repeat.
