most dvd rippers can be found online and will rip, regardless of copyright.
then you just move the file onto a blank dvd-r.

The bootlegs get leaked, a lot of times, from company workers. Those are the good ones - ie my lotr.
Only issue w/ those is about every 10mins something will scroll the bottom of the screen saying "if you bought this please contact ___" or "copyright ____ cinema" or whatever.

Then you get the crappy ones that come from people that take cameras into theaters and record it....like in that seinfeld episode
