Ok, yes you CAN remove the needles...but you will never get them back on to the right position...if you do it "right". Then your cluster will not be as accurate as it is (which really isnt that good anyway)
Most people that try to remove the needle end up snapping the metal stud or breaking the internal mechanism instead of the needle just popping off. At that point youre totally F'd and either buy a new cluster or buy the individual cluster parts from honda (which is actually cheaper than people think).
