There are some very good post so far but I am hoping for more. This (unfortunately) is an important issue especially with the election only a few months away. I voted last year election but the Dade County, Palm Beach fixing and the missing and uncounted ballots have effected me greatly. I don't believe that the electoral college works (were no longer in 1820 and I believe that the average American is intelligent enough to choose his or her own leader and by the way Bush, minorities and women are allowed to vote too now.) I think fixing an election, going to war, cutting financial aid, raising government spending, cutting school funding, lying to the people and increasing the amount of unemployment all while watching gas prices soar is too much for me. And if my one vote could have prevented it then it would have but it didn't. But that’s just my opinion.
