ACtually to get it to flash code, turn the key on to Aux and off three times, it will then flash the codes. Thats a lot easier then a jumper trick, trust me.
As far as the car is concerned have you put it on the dyno and tuned it yet? You may want to do that soon just to ensure that your A/F mixture is correct.
