Actually considering that the average price of the bikes we sell is 4k its not $200 kids bike. We deal in a niche market of less then 1% of North Americans evening riding something close to what we sell. So thank you for playing down the company I work for and being rather imature about the whole thing.
If you dont think I know what I'm doing, with both local sales and international sales as far as austrialia up 22% then I guess you're right. Average order is up, and so is order volume. I wont pull out dollar amounts because it's not public knowledge.
You truly dont understand marketing or how search works. There are both local, nation and internetation ends to most search engines. I'm sorry you pushed aside my information as quickly as you did and I'm sorry you felt that you had to spend a ton of money.
You dont need to spend 32% of your budget on search, if you spend 2-5% you'd be better off then not spending any at all. The largest age group of search users is not kids but people between the ages of 35-60, which account for a little more then 65% of the people currently using the web and from what I gather a large part of your clients. And as I stated before the marjority of people searching the web make a considerable amount of money.
How can someone want to put alot of money in your hands if you cant even show up in the worlds largest search engine?

Stop acting all hot shot because you've signed big contracts, or watched your folks grow a company. Congrats on that, you're not the only one who's done that and you'd benifit from taking more then a small towners view on this. I two have watch my folks grow a few companies, big deal. Marketing a company is very different then anything I'd perviously done. I'm not telling you do to anything, only sharing some very powerful information for marketers. The reality is most people dont properly use search and spend more money per customer reducing their ROM.
BTW you just got schooled on marketing. So read over what I've said in my other posts, I havent told you what to do only suguested some things. A simple thank you is in order. This is what I do for a living and something you're just getting into, you'd be smart to attempt to learn instead of not.
If you act like this in other aspecs of yuor life is explains alot as to the issues you've been posting lately. You'd benifit from not taking a stance and polorizing yourself to one position so quickly. search isnt the answer to what yuo need to do but a marketing plan with a healthy search aspect will be more affective then one thats not.
