Not the A6 man. I would rather beef up a B18A/B. With the D-series DOHC, I say ZC. With the D-series SOHC, I say Z6. I still think that building up a B18A/B is the way to go. A close friend has one. Built B18A:
-Golden Eagle sleeves
-Bored to 1.9
-Eagle rods
-Wiseco pistons (9.8 compression)
JDM GSR head:
-polished exhaust port
-titanium retainers
-dual valve springs
Turbo:
-Turbonetics T3/T04e 57t 63 A/R (for now)
-2.5 DP (for now)
-38mm Tial WG @ 8 psi (for now)
Management:
-Hondata S200b base map
Still on break-in period. I know that it will push big numbers after tuning and bigger turbo. It already feels crazy even at low boost.
I plan to build my own too. Almost similar to that as a back up motor or drop into an EK.......
