Either B-series (B18B, B18A, or B18C1...and for this matter.....for B18C5) will not give you 200 hp at the wheels if kept on stock form. B18C1 averages 140-150 whp while B18C5 (or JDM ITR B18C) will only net around 170-178 whp. If you plan to turbo later, then you will be suprised on how much power you can gain on a B18B since the lower compression provides plenty of room for boost...... not all turbo set-up is unrealiable. I have been boosting my D-series since early 2000. I have not yet go through major headaches...knock on wood. 10 psi daily driver is sweet...
