Odd...I was thinking the exact same thing about your post.
As for the Ebay item...I doubt it's of any significance other than it's historical value. Poeple will make up any kind of shit to sell stuff. It's not a bad angle though. I've got an old Sega system I want to sell...maybe I could tell people it's haunted.
