In canada Si's are the same thing as EX in US.
Only differences in SIR's and US Si's is SIR's have anti lock brakes, and heated mirrors.
Few ways to tell if it's an Si - Painted side skirts, front lower lip spoiler. On the seats the headrests have a hole in them. Of course the engine and tranny. Rear disc brakes. Muffler tip. I think thats pretty much it that you'd be able to tell from driving by it.

Yeah- the pic of the white one had painted side skirts and everything. I'll have to ask if he got it used or something.
