Nowadays, I wouldn't even consider buying a car on ebay with all the fraud thats out there. I've seen people list motorcycles on ebay and cycletrader for cheap hoping for someone to take the bait and then disappearing with the deposit. I'm sure there are people doing it with cars too. If it's too good to be true, it probably is... If I were to drop five figures on a car online, I'm going to personally fly out there and pick it up.
