That's messed up. I would never buy a car I knew had been wrecked to the point of body or frame damage. I bought my car in '98 with 36K verified original miles (it now has around 53K) for $6K. I've seen cars with over twice the mileage in Hemmings go for $10K. I don't think I could justify buying a wreck for $12.5K no matter what car it was. There's just too many questions.
