It will work. The wiring is basically the same......but why get the VAFC? Stick with the SAFC. It will be a wiser choice. You can also do a "blue wire" mod with it. You cant do that on the VAFC.
If you dont already know what a blue wire mod is, the SAFC has an extra function that Honda ECu cannot provide which is why the blue wire on the SAFC is not used. However, you can use that blue wire and tap it into your primary O2 sensor wire to read the voltage output of the O2 sensor. Every voltage reading equates to how much exhaust gas flow you are putting out. I cant remember exactly what the equation is at the moment. This will give you a ballpark idea if you're running rich or lean. Sort of an A/F ratio gauge... but in numbers. Useful for tuners. Goodluck
