i think people need to stop jocking r/s ratio, d16's have a 1.52 (ls's have a 1.54)ratio rev to 7200 stock and last easily 200,000miles. the only thing a good r/s ratio is really good for is more dwell time at TDC and BDC allowing more time for air to enter/exit the cylinder. Bring boost into the equation and who gives a crap.
worrying about r/s ratio in a street car is about as smart as swaping out a d16 for a b16.
