I got an xbox (plus xbox live) for Christmas as well. I have been a die-hard PS2 fan and wasn't too keen on the xbox.... however, I gotta tell ya that I absolutely love it!. I'm actually thinking about selling my PS2 just so I can have more money for more xbox games. The xbox live is incredibly fun - especially if you regularly play with a group of friends rather than a different group of strangers all the time. I've been playing with around 5 friends from work. Current games include:

• Ghost Recon
• Ghost Recon: Island Thunder
• Rainbow Six 3 (just started last night)
• Midnight Club II (we all own it, haven't played it yet)
• Outlaw Volleyball (owned, not played yet)

We've been grabbing multiple copies of games from Blockbuster when they have their used games 2 for 1 deals going on. Best way to do it without breaking the bank.

If you want to join us, which you're more than welcome to do so, just let me know your gamertag and I'll send you an invitation (currently playing Rainbow Six). We're not that great at the games yet, but we have tons of fun.

And yeah, it does cost around $50 per year - but for barely over $4 per month it's well worth it. I can sacrifice one taco bell run per month to pay for it.
