No, AEM stopped using K&N filters on their intakes and went with their own design, an AEM filter.
AEM claims it is more free-flowing than the K&N and claims it filters better as well. Whether that's true, well your guess is as good as mine.
The AEM filters are more expensive than the K&N ones IIRC. It's like a $10-15 difference between them or something.
But really, for an S2K.....what's $10-15??? Sheot.
If I had an S2K, I'd grab the small parts list from what they changed in the Spoon S2K and do that to mine. Talk about a major performer over stock for so few mods.
