Yeah I guess I shouldn't have mentioned ankle weights at least, they are pretty bad. But it's not that bad to run with some weights in your hands AFAIK. Of course you have to build up to it, you don't just start off with heavy weights.
But running isn't exactly the lowest impact exercise on your joints anyways.....especially if you're overweight and trying to use running to lose weight. It's just bad on your knees and ankles.
I think I f'd my right knee from mtn. biking....still hurts from 3 weeks ago. Dammit.
