Sorry, I had forgotten XS-1500.1 about this thread.. :o

I love the orion amps, all of em. . But they are very power hungry.

You could go with Autotek XS-1500.1.. Very good quality and not that expensive.

Class-D Mono Block with Dual 2 Awg. Power and Ground Terminals
450 WATTS X 1 CHANNEL @ 4 OHMS
900 WATTS X 1 CHANNEL @ 2 OHMS
1500 WATTS X 1 CHANNEL @ 1 OHM (Perfect match!)

If going with 2 subs, 1 Earthquake PHD2 (aka SHREDDER) would do the job well.

Alternators you could check out Ohio HO alts. Or a rebuilt (for higher output, could be from different car) alt. You may need a setup of more than 1.
