take this problem as a blessing and replace the rods/pistons w/ aftermarkets and you'll be ready for +300hp(with turbo obviously)

so for about 1500$ total (includes labor so even cheaper if you do it yourself)you'll have basically a new engine that can with stand a good deal of boost.
