Actually our presence there is an insult to them AND us. The definition and proprietary function of a govenment is to be an organization that protects it's citizens. If it fails to do that in any sense of the word then it's the CITIZEN'S responsibility to overthrow or change said government. It's NOT the responsibility of a country half way around the world. We've already done enough damage to that country...over 500,000 civilians killed as a result of earlier attacks and sanctions. Why add insult to injury at the taxpayer's expense? I for one don't want money taken out of my paychecks to "accidentally" incinerate a school or a pharmaceuticals lab *cough* like in Serbia *cough*. Bottom line is we didn't do what we went there to do...Saddam is still alive and there weren't any WMDs so why the hell are we still there? You think Saddam is coming back while we're there? You think those WMDs will magically appear? It's time to cut our losses and take our people out of harms way.
