damn...I'm sittin here tryin to think of what I did my "how to" speech on in high school or college and I can't think of either. What an effect it had on me!!! But seriously why don't you do something like how to fold an origami (?) swan or something. Those things are super easy to make, I'm sure you can get directions either off the net or your school library should have a book on it....and you really don't need origami paper to do it. In my world cultures class in hs, we made them out of left over gift wrap. You can get that cheaply anywhere, and you'd probably be able to give a piece of paper to all the kids in your class and have it be an "interactive" lesson.
I dunno dude...I don't know what your skill levels are...and I'm a girl, so of course I pick "crafty" stuff to do. You could be like the kid in my hs comm class that did his how to speech on how to read a UPC bar code.

This kid also had ambitions of taking over the world too. He was a lil off balance!
