I have 550hp give or take, and run just a bit faster in the 1/4 than 14. Why not build the motor to be bullet proof... then get a SUPERCHARGER at procharger? Procharger.com. They are claiming 100% hp increase at about 14psi on your civics. The kit is MUCH cheaper than a turbo. You could be easily looking at 300hp. Screw the weight, build the motor.

My expression about the 14 second car was just an example, showing you weight does matter. It matters alot.
I know that if you had 600 ponies pulling a 2 ton car it would be alot lower than a 14.
Also thanks on the supercharger idea. I was thinking more of a turbo but ill give it some thought. Thanks
