Nonono... cats do not belong on a muscle car.. First of all it would sound horrible.. nothing like 650hp flowing through full 3" dual exhaust.. would sound like complete ass with a cat.. and yes.. a cat would take away well paid for horsepower.. One of the problems with having a newer import style rod I guess.. you need cats.. I don't need cats or any smog equipment.. and there are almost no laws for my car. I can do whatever I please with it, and I even have it insured for an agreed value of $35000 for only $225 a year. Can't beat a classic car. Newer cars domestic and imports generally sound like ass without cats.. dunno why, they just do.
