I've never met anyone who did it that didn't regret it eventually...
It's just kinda cheezy imo... do what you want but I know a LOT of people who thought that it looked great (including me... on some cars) but as time passes your opinion on it changes... It just starts to look cheezy...
Also it will TOTAL your resale value and the cost of replacing ALL the parts you painted is VERY VERY high... even going to a junkyard to get pieces it's gunna cost an arm and a leg and take LOTS AND LOTS of work to get it back to stock looks....
ALso MOST of the time it doesn't come out that good and if it does it doesn't last for ever by ANY stretch of the imagination.
try doing a scale version of it first... IE fiberglass/paint something worthless... not your car... if you like how it comes out have at it...
but more often then not it turns into a learning experience you wish you never had to go through.
