You mean it would make a manual transmission into a clutch-pedalless manual transmission. It won't be clutchless, nor will it be an automatic transmission.
Yeah yeah, I know, anally pointing out details....
Ferarri was working on a system that would detect when you wanted to shift. It's still a regular manual transmission except for the lack of a clutch pedal. Depending on things like throttle position and pressure on the shift stick it would engage/disengage the clutch for you.
